I'm Weird.

I picked up DSLR when the term D-SLR terrified people. Most of the time, Street photographing had turned me into a terrorist, they would shout! "Don't shoot! You fag!" "I'm figging kill you" and i'm effing panic! I got cursed a lot back then. Nowadays, DSLRs are so much affordable! Everybody is the photographer. It is so common and i got cursed lesser. Thank god!

Due to the bounty DSLR, i turned to analogue camera when film is disparage by them. "You still shoot film? hahaha! Loser!" -whatever.

but so many Analogue photographers right now, and i'm thinking of quitting photographing. Selling my gears gradually, getting a compact camera, second hand Canon S90 will do.

I am weird. creep.

When you turned older, logically. Your social network, your friends will expand accordingly. but mine got lessen. Tend to shrink somehow. I'm sick of social problem, i puked middle of the night thinking about it. So, i make my friends hate me, then i alienate myself from their social group and stay on highly fenced island. That's how i alienated myself and lost friends. Period.

i have issue, Asperger's issue. I chose not to pick up logical social clues, and acted the opposite way. Almost retaliate rebellious.

I'm weird.

*that's me in the picture, being isolated and ignored.*

i Lomographed my life.

holding still with the 10 golden rules of Lomography!!! i tried.

1. Take my camera everywhere i go.
Frankly, i didn't. i left it at home when i went Ozzie, Krabi, S'pore. Damn. and i don't even know who the hell is Frank? i'd been using him as my adverb!!! gee! i'll bring it every so often now even if i don't shoot, it's like my fashion accessory now!

i brought it to Gambang WaterFront park! Water City park? Desa Park? whatever.

2. Use it! Day and Night!!!
hell yeah! i use it anytime!!! but mostly day time, because i love the sun, especially when it comes shine and flare upon my lens...love it! the Sun'll come out tomorrow!!!

3. Lomography is not an interference in life, but part of it.
Agree!! *like like* see it follows me to Window shopping! =D

4. Try the shot from hip. (Or aerial view!)
i did! but it doesn't look like hip shot! more likely knee shot!!! i'm so short freak! So i tried shooting from top down, so people will thought i'm so freakishly tall! xP

5. Approach the objects of your Lomographic desire as close as possible!
be Berry-the-close! i'll make it close enough to out focus next time! promise!

6. Don't think! Just shoot!
i don't think! i'm retarted freak. i shot with intuition! i shoot the things i like. Sky, Sun...and balloon over the sky! and tree? *frown*

7. Be Fast!
So fast until i forgot to wind the dial and overexposed!!!

8. You Don't have to know beforehand what you captured on film.
you mean...i close my eyes and shoot? okay! i'll do it on my next roll!!! obviously i did not close my eyes shooting this, but i did shut 1 eye though.

9. Afterwards either.
you'll never completely understand the world, but you'll understand your lomo ever less!!! Shite!

10. Don't worry about rules!
yeah! shoot first then get beaten later...=)

Duh' i'm not a terrorist! i'm just lomographing my life.

yes! i'll say it again. "the Future is Analog." i'd definitely fall for Film these days, TLR is a dream! especially the dream of Rolleiflex. been traveled down South Malaysia recently, for the Bugfest, and these film came late with surprises! here goes! Bob's World Peace buzz
a vintage Karmann Ghia with oval signal lights. have i told you? it also the world slowest sport car!
when all bugs meet. it feels as thought you're living 60's again! that's a decade i'd missed for Malaysia's Football Glory days!
i'd make my story a few posts back...i'm just going to cut the crap and show the little surprise from analog camera. these images are mostly capture with Smena 8m and my dad's Kodak VR35 K5, an ordinary film camera most of you or your dad had one of it kept in the attic, the ugly truth is, you don't disregard your stuff because it's old or ugly, you ignore it! Digital had inevitably changed our life especially in photographing, but film camera is still the killer! it captured like non of the digital can do. if you have an unused analog camera in your storeroom and your dad hates it, pick it up, get a film and go shooting! it's fun and sometime reward with surprises. Else. you can give it to me.

Appreciate old stuffs, especially the one you acclaimed "the Old man". Happy Father's Day! i love you dad. also, feel free to read a great short story i loved so much! Yen-the Old Man & her.

here's the pica of the day, a car i wish to buy for my old man one day =)

the Future is Analog

analog is awesome! frankly, i got sick of how advance had the digital brought to us sometimes, ironically; it brought perfection and lack of anticipation to our life. wasn't that our life is filled with imperfection and anticipation?

and here's some updates on what'd i had for the past March & April...it'd been fruitful.

Cs started his new days of working, met him for lunch and we talked thru one's hat.
and damn the MU fans came along... ... and talk turd as if A. Fergie.
never has his eyes off the palm, an anti-social Deutshbag.
also... the beutiful Ms.T
we had the lunch at some Noodle House...not a bad place at all =) foods were pretty darn good too.

and terry came along for the Energizer Night Race, brought him for dimsum...

the battle of Analog vs Digital!
little girl, glimpses away meditatively
got to Batu Caves for some photoshot...

this's my lovely rented house. and i'm looking for housemate...*sniff*
this is Nyakyusa, he's ain't no ordinary lamp pole outside my crib. he never light but only one special night... the night i moved in.

Cheers for world analog day!
